Handsome and unusual set of six matching, 18th-century Sheraton period, stained Elm, dining chairs. The chairs all feature ornate, carved backs, square tapered front legs, joint with a lower H rail, -which gives additional strength- and a unique scroll top cresting rail. The chairs are in excellent condition, all the joints are firm and the attractive upholstery is in good condition with minor marks. The seat height is 47 cm.
