Handsome set of 8 Regency style mahogany dining chairs c.1910. Solid mahogany frames with slightly curved and moulded rails over beautifully carved and pierced back stretchers. Reeded detail to the face of the rear styles and continued on the gracefully shaped arms and swept supports. Loose seat pads freshly upholstered in a pale grey tweed. Raised on turned front legs. Original maker’s labels for the high end Liverpool cabinet makers Allen & Appleyard. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
