An excellent set of 8 (6 side and a pair of armchairs) mahogany dinning chairs in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Very well made in dense solid mahogany timber, now with a wonderful mellow colour and patina. The generously proportioned seats have been very recently professionally upholstered in tan leather which look wonderful and are in excellent condition. The chairs themselves are in excellent overall condition, ready to go straight into the home. The cabriole front legs have the characteristic carving to the knees and terminate in good crisply carved ball and claw feet. The chair backs have a lovely open back splat design.
