Set of 8 (6+2) mahogany Georgian dining chairs
Antique fine quality set of 8 (6+2) Georgian revival mahogany dining chairs. Far better than most. Originally from Harrods, with some chairs bearing their plaque.
Date from C1910.
Solid and strong with no loose joints. No woodworm. Great Hepplewhite styling.
Good new reupholstery job in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.
Overall maximum dimensions:
Chair 49cmW x 49cmD x 95cmH (46cmH seat when sat on).
Carver 54cmW x 51cmD x 98cmH (46cmH seat when sat on and arms 70.5cmH)
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. A few historic repairs (as is to be expected), but all is solid and very strong now.
