It's hard to find old sets of ten dining chairs & especially sets this nice. These chairs are antique Adam style dating from around the 1930's period & in great condition. They are mahogany & the wood is quite light in colour. They have been polished & re-upholstered with double piped edges. The backs are shield shaped, with wheat sheaf designs & other fine details. The legs are tapered & are joined by cross stretchers which give the chairs more stability. There are ten chairs including two with arms.
