A fine and charming novelty inkwell made from spelter and painted, retaining most of the paintwork.

In the form of a Scottish Terrier Pup / Scottie Dog, he has the most wonderful playful face brought to like with his two glass eyes.

The hinged lid opens to reveal a glass in chamber within.

English in origin and dating to c.1920, it remains in excellent vintage condition. 7 1/2" x 3" x 6" tall.
