Scottish Provincial Silver Spoon, Stewart, Elgin
A rare Scottish Provincial Silver Teaspoon made by Thomas Stewart, Elgin and dating from c1815.
Thomas Stewart is recorded in "Jackson's Silver" as working in Elgin from c1813.
It has very good, clear marks, with the maker’s mark “TS” for Thomas Stewart, "ELN" town mark for Elgin.
It measures approximately 5 1/2" inches (140mm) in length. The weight is 14.4g. Specialists in Antique Pocket Watches & Vintage Wristwatches, Jewellery, Silver (including Scottish Provincial),Good Quality Antiques & Works of Art.
