Scottish George IV 4 Tier Whatnot
Circa 1820, an unusual Scottish George IV 4 tier whatnot. The top tier has a three quarter gallery, with distinctive Scottish chamfering on the inside, crowned with 4 gilded and carved finials in the form of urns. Each of the tiers has a simple beaded fore edge and is supported on elegant turned columns. The four tiers are all scumbled to simulate rosewood. On the base is a single drawer.
