Circa 1815, a rosewood sofa table by William Trotter of Edinburgh. The table has a stylish rosewood top, below this there are 4 unusual panels with decorative gilded lead beadings on each corner of the table. There are drawers below the apron with the classic Trotter quilling. The table stands on a classic lyre-end with a stretcher and sabre legs ending in cast brass hairy paw castors. These are the original castors which have brass discs sandwiched with a central piece of wood. The table is in excellent condition.

Size 74cm high x 94cm wide x 71cm deep.
