Regency Serpentine Rosewood Davenport
A super Regency Davenport desk in rosewood and dating to c.1820. This example features an attractive serpentine front with barley twist columns and a fitted interior complete with a narrow drawer for ink and writing implements that can be unlocked to pull out from one side.
With a three quarter gallery to the back and tan blind tooled skiver to the hinged writing slope. The side drawers have turned knob handles and a Wellington type locking bar and comes complete with working keys. All standing on bun feet. This is an excellent example, veneered on all sides with beautifully figured & coloured rosewood.
