Regency Rosewood Open Bookcase
Super quality and beautifully proportioned Regency rosewood open bookcase with a 3/4 brass gallery and twin pillars to the front corners, circa 1820 and in good condition.
This is a really lovely piece of antique furniture, classic regency with its simplicity and style, it will look fantastic wherever it goes!
The rosewood has such a detailed grain pattern and a warm tone, with the brass gallery contrasting well…Great for display as well as a small bookcase.
Measuring:
36 inches or 91.5 cm high
30 1/4 inches or 77 cm wide
14 3/4 inches or 37.5 cm deep
9 inches or 23 cm each shelf height Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
