Early 19th.c. Regency era rosewood breakfast dining table c.1830. Circular 45″ diameter top with well-figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. With a crossbanded edge and apron. Raised on a tapering column pedestal, also in rosewood, with turned base. On a tripod plinth with carved claw feet and brass castors. A little smaller than many we see, to seat a maximum of six people. The top can be tipped to vertical when not in use. Excellent colour and condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
