Early 19th.c. Regency era rosewood breakfast dining table c.1830. Circular 54″ diameter top with beautifully figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. With crossbanded edge and slim apron. Raised on a shaped octagonal section column pedestal, also in rosewood, with turned base. On a tripod plinth with carved claw feet and brass castors. Comfortably seats six people. The top can be tipped to vertical when not in use. Excellent colour and condition, with a repair to the veneers on the column. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
