Regency Circular Flip Up Breakfast Loo Table
This is a good period breakfast or dining table. It is made in solid mahogany and dates to around 1820 or so. The table is very elegant. It has such an unusual triform base in parcel gilt and to the French taste. I would guess that the table is in fact English. The triform base with gilded swag details terminates in original small brass casters.
The table is a tilt top so can be pushed up against a wall in the upright position when not in use and will not take up a lot of space but will always look beautiful.
The table is in good antique condition. The table is solid in the down position and the wood glows. Minor marks from usage as you would expect.
This is a beautiful table for intimate dining. It is very elegant and will seat four. It would also look good in an alcove or window with a vase on top. It is just a beautiful furnishing piece for an antique interior.
The table is 42 inches in diameter and is 28 inches high.
