A bold and highly decorative red lacquered chinoiserie cabinet on stand. Dating to the early 20th century and of generous proportions. With lovely brass strap-work hinges and lock plate. The whole cabinet profusely decorated with oriental scenes. The pair of doors (lockable, key supplied) open to access a shelved interior. The whole cabinet stands on a carved giltwood and gesso stand. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, a really eye-catching piece of furniture.
