A very unusual 3 1/2" vintage compact mirror with three large mirrors.
This compact mirror comes complete with the original box, unused puff, sifter & plastic holding ring. The whole compact mirror is in excellent condition. All hinges & clasps work very well.
The lid has a head of what seems to be a Scotty dog wearing a yellow collar.This decoration sits atop a pristine celluloid lid. Please see image two for a close-up of the delightful sides which have a gilt embossed design.The lid lifts to reveal a large excellent mirror. The mirror bezel is stamped "PAT.1969.155". The powder well is unusual as it is another mirror which gives a good reflection. Within the powder well are the original puff, sifter & holding ring all of which have never been used. The base is also another mirror which has a little age related haze.
This compact comes with a box which is also in good condition. The box bears a trademark crown logo.
This celluloid compact mirror measures 3 1/2" & weighs 118.9 grams.
