Always highly sought-after and collectible, these figural Owl match strikes or table vestas don't come around all that often. The rim does test as sterling silver but the mark is not marked, probably rubbed away through cleaning over the years. It does however have the English design registration number etched into the underside allowing us to date accurately to the year 1904, Edwardian in era.

About as charming as they get, retaining his original glass eyes and in excellent condition. 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".
