An adorable antique Langlois DUSKA compact rouge in very good condition. The lid & sides are decorated with red enamel which is excellent. A gilt border makes an eye-catching frame to the beautiful scene on the lid - the most exquisite Fountain of Youth surrounded by flowers & foliage. Just delightful! The inner case is beautifully gilded & the mirror framed by a gilt bezel. The mirror gives a very good reflection - a few age related marks on the mirror that do not detract from the piece at all. The base has the original sticker which is always good to find - stating that the colour shade is 'Medium'. The pretty gilt base is signed 'Langlois DUSKA New York'. Measures 1 1/2" & weighs 14.2 grams.
