Charles Wadman Music Stool - Quality Design - c1890

A lovely circular ebonised Aesthetic Movement period music stool presented in superb condition.

Of quality construction this Charles Wadman rotating height adjustable stool is suitable for a range of applications.

The rise and fall upholstered seat adjusts through turning and is well supported with brass bushing and offers a feeling of solidity.

The base is nicely detailed with a central column joined to the quad-form base by mini-turned stretchers. The turned legs finish with a curved leg to produce an attractive and stable lower section.
The upholstered seat is covered with a quality soft textile and trimmed with dome-head detail to the perimeter.

Overall a beautiful example presented in very good condition. There are a couple of light marks on the fabric (as seen in photos) which we mention purely for the sake of accuracy.
