Panelled Golden Oak Twin Pedestal Desk Partner's
Antique very large panelled golden oak twin pedestal desk.
The finest quality that you will find anywhere...the top is 2" thick and everything is panelled solid oak, even the knee hole!
Panelled all round to sit in the centre of a room.
The size of a partner's desk but designed to give acres of space for one.
Dates from around 1920.
Useful extension wings.
This is a lovely quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid, very heavy and with no loose joints....a very rare find.
No woodworm.
The oak lined drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
Would look great in the right location, a complete one off!
Overall maximum dimensions 170cmW x 100cmD x 83cmH (68cmH knee hole).
Splits into several parts for transport (necessary as it is too big and heavy to transport without taking apart), so there will be a little reassembly necessary.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. We have a key for the centre drawer, there are no locks on the other drawers.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
