Circa 1920. A stylish pair of marble top pedestals by’ Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’ with raised yellow variegated marble inserts sitting on the sycamore stands, with moulded edges and simple frieze. Standing on four classic Whytock & Reid legs, reeded on the outside and chamfered on the inside, intersected by a shelf towards the base, and finishing on a stylized Lorimeresque foot.
