Pair of Victorian Flame Mahogany Bedside (c.1860)
This is a superb pair of mid Victorian flame mahogany bedside chests, circa 1860.

This is a superb pair of Victorian flame mahogany bedside chests, circa 1860. They each have four graduated working drawers with hand dovetailed joints, mahogany drawer linings and the original gothic glass and brass knobs. Each bedside chest boasts traditional square cornered molded edges. The backs of the bedsides feature pine back boards. Both chests are constructed of top quality solid mahogany timber finished with a superb flame mahogany finish. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from the colonies.
These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way, living room or the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Condition Report
These bedside chests are in excellent condition and commensurate with age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. These bedsides have been adapted from a dressing table some time ago. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The bedsides feature the original gothic glass & brass knobs. The drawers are oak mahogany lined which is a sign of good quality. The flame mahogany gives a superb colour / patination. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £55. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. We will inform you by email and/or telephone and provide you with full delivery details including when to expect delivery. Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks (depending on location). We will contact you to arrange the delivery day please ensure you give us a contact number to aid the delivery process. Delivery includes insurance we can assure you that the packaging standard is second to none and will fully protect the item.
UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. If you decide to return the item at the point of delivery, you will only pay for the delivery cost. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.
