Pair Of Newly Upholstered Buttoned Stools
Newly upholstered pair of French satinwood buttoned top stools, made in solid satinwood ( which is most unusual ), turned legs and X frame cross stretchers, circa 1900.
They are a substantial pair of stools, very solid and strong, very capable to holding an adult for an evening if extra seating is required.
They also sit well together, to be used as a footstool, window seat or piano stools too.
They have been cleaned and polished, so they have a good finish and I have upholstered them in a pale golden yellow traditional ticking stripe, edged with a scrolled gimp braid.
Priced as the pair, but can be sold individually if you only require one stool.
Measuring:
19 1/2 inches or 49.5 cm high
21 inches or 53.5 cm wide
21 inches or 53.5 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
