A stunning pair of green marble Corinthian columns standing 47" (120cm) high with octagonal base and top. The bodies of the columns are barley twist from the base up to the halfway point from which it is turned and tapered. The colour of the green veined marble is superb and the brass Corinthian tops which support the platform is outstanding quality. One of the columns has been repaired as shown in the photograph of the column.

These outstanding torchieres are shown holding a pair of Minton candelabra, which are available separately, poa. but would equally striking supporting flower arrangements, good bronzes or marble figures.
