Pair of Gothic Carved Oak Stools c.1890. %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A charming pair of Gothic carved oak stools or side antique tables c.1890. In solid oak throughout. Tops, sides, and stretchers carved and pierced with lovely Gothic tracery pattern details. Thumb moulded edge to the tops and Gothic trefoil arch shape at the feet. Note how the pierced top makes a handle for carrying. Some old splits and missing portions of the carving on one end of one stool. Otherwise very good condition, solid and sturdy and a particularly good colour.

Dimensions: width 17″, depth 10″, height 18″.
