Pair of 19th Century Empire Style Gilt X Frame Stools

A superb pair of large antique Neo-Classical X Frame stools in the Empire style, the stools have old silk upholstery and the show wood is carved and gilded in the classical style
It is rare to find a pair of these, they are in good condition with only very minor chipping too the gilt gesso finish, the upholstery is old and in good if faded condition
The stools are 29” high, 33” wide and 20” deep
