A handsome pair of Victorian silver plated wine coasters both marked by the well renowned silversmith, William Padley and Son, using the palm of the hand trade mark.

The rims are beautifully cast with a pierced or reticulated grapevine decoration.

Dating to around 1880, they both remain in excellent condition and ready to use, spanning 7 1/2" x 2" tall the aperture measuring 4 1/2" in diameter.
