This, mid 19th century antique chest of drawers is a wonderful, primitive example of an original painted pine apothecary/seed chest.
The period blue paint finish is a beautiful colour and has worn in places, all the drawers have wooden handles and the whole chest standson bracket feet.
A good, solid antique apothecary chest of drawers in very good all round condition.
Dating from around 1840-50, this antique painted pine chest is now at Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
