A beautiful 1950s Clover brand musical powder box in excellent condition. The music box is very sound and it plays very well. The lid is inlaid with abalone and mother of pearl which have the most wonderful iridescent qualities. The mirror gives a perfectly clear reflection.This music box comes with the original pouch, puff and sifter. The inner lid is signed 'Clover' as is the pink puff. The white card edged sifter is clean. There aren't any traces of powder. The base has an attractive gilt satinized finish. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. Measures 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm & weighs 151.5 grams.
