A handsome piece of furniture, this is a chest of drawers in the military style which splits into two pieces, each with brass handles at the sides for easy removal. The top section has brass corners which highlight the beautiful colour and patina of the mahogany, and the bottom piece sits on bun feet. The drawers all have good sized wooden drawer pulls and have base linings in blue paper. This is a great storage chest and will look lovely in any bedroom, with the added benefit of being something of a statement piece.

Dating to the 19th century, this is made of mahogany and originates from the UK.

In good age related condition, there are some minor splits and scuffs to the sides which are not obtrusive and add to the character of the piece. There are also stains to the fabric inside the drawers. No key is available.
