Unusual mid century marble top coffee table c.1970. Highly figured 48″ x 28″ rouge griotte marble top on a steel and brass base with low glass stretcher shelf. Brass edge trim and steel apron with a single velvet lined drawer in one side. Raised with an unusual hoop detail on brass tusk-shaped legs which are joined with the same hoop detail to steel stretchers which form a frame for the 7mm thick glass shelf. Excellent condition, with traces of old paintwork to the apron.
Dimensions: width 48″, depth 28″, height 20″.
