Superb mid 19th.c. oak open dresser base c.1840. Longer than many we see, the beautiful two plank top with cleated ends measuring an impressive 86″. With three large and three small drawers all with cockbeaded fronts and retaining their original turned mahogany knobs. Double arch apron, also cockbeaded, raised on crisply turned front legs with an unusual fan detail where they meet the apron. Joined with a useful potboard display shelf with two raised panels. Solid oak sides and an elm backboard. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
