This is a vintage mid-century high quality oak wardrobe in the tradition of the Arts & Crafts movement.

Raised on shaped feet and in good proportion, the two door wardrobe opens to reveal dual height hanging space with a useful upper cubby hole. Inside the right hand door a long mirror features. The back of the cabinet panelled.

The cabinet doors are vertically delineated with blackened iron work in the form strap hinges, stud decoration and closing with a simple latch over shaped back plate. Twin gothic arch panels feature in the door fronts with the reciprocating arch form repeating in the upper rail.

Pleasingly heavy and crafted to last a lifetime in 1" thick solid oak of the best quality, the choice cuts of timber display beautifully with wisps of medullary rays shining through the oiled finish.
