circa 1960’s De Sede DS44 armchair & sofa suite
We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning fully restored suite of Mid Century Modern circa 1960’s De Sede DS44 armchairs with matching sofa which is part of a larger collection

This is part of a collection as mentioned, I have in one listing one armchair and ottoman, in this listing a pair of armchairs with a matching two seat sofa, this sale is for the pieces mentioned above only with the other lots being listed for sale under my other items
A truly iconic and super comfortable suite made by the style gurus and De Sede. The DS-44 has been a staple of many a designer interiors, its clean lines, oversized hand stitched leather make it cool, comfortable and good looking from any angle
These chairs and sofa have a kind of reclining action, the back doesn't go back but the base comes out and forwards, the end result is a much more comfortable seating position and a lot more room for curling your legs up beside you or your partner. They are upholstered in thick Buffalo Neck cattle hide leather which is super smooth and soft
This suite has has been fully restored by my Ralph Lauren trained leather polisher, he has stripped the old colour out, the set has then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, the end result is a super unique offering that has a better than new colouring

We have long term storage which is very economically priced, we are happy to hold stock for as long as needed providing it is arranged prior to the purchase.
If sold items aren’t collected within three months and no arrangements have been made for long term storage you will forfeit the item and payment.

COURIER (LARGE ITEMS ONLY THAT CAN’T BE POSTED)
We prefer collection on all items from Wimbledon SW19-3BE, If you have your own courier or wish to book the collection in yourself we are happy to accommodate you.
We can arrange delivery nationwide, please confirm the delivery amount before you buy and not after.
Whoever delivers will usually require some help on the larger items to unload, if this is not possible please let us know as it will affect the price to send a two man team.
Delivery is to the ground floor only, again if you need help upstairs or in flats etc that's absolutely not a problem, the couriers charge £10 per flight per man per item, if you have a working elevator then naturally there’s no additional fee.
