A beautiful sideboard, stamped with the date 1959, from mid century British manufacturer G Plan. The Tola and Black range offered a wide selection of furniture designs for dining room, living room and bedroom, all featuring tola wood with black painted legs and brass feet and handles. This useful piece, model 391, has a glazed cupboard with internal glass shelf and a lip to support plates. There are 3 drawers, one lined with black velvet with space for cutlery and linen. The drinks cabinet has a drop down door, fixed internal shelf, and full height bottle storage. The brass feet are adjustable to manage uneven hard floors.

Dimensions: Width 121cm, Depth 48cm, Height 96cm.

The sideboard is in excellent original condition. There are very minor marks to the wood, and one handle is tarnished.
