Mahognay Folding Campaign Daybed c.1880 %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Fabulous late 19th.c. mahogany campaign daybed by Thomas Robinson of Ilkley c.1880. Solid mahogany frame with canework panels, hinged to allow the back to recline to various positions whilst the knees and feet can be raised. On turned legs with brass and ceramic castors. The frame hinges in the centre and the legs unscrew so it would take up minimum space in an officer’s baggage train. Original white enamel label. Some repairs to the canework, otherwise very good original condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: Width 22" Height 13" - 36" Length 72"
