Mahogany Victorian torchiere jardiniere stand
Antique Victorian (or possibly early 20C) mahogany torchiere or jardiniere table pedestal stand.
This item is solid and heavy, with no loose joints.
No woodworm.
An attractive piece with a lovely melon fluted stem and a quality feel.
Very dark French polish finish, almost black ebonized in colour.
Good age and patina, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions
Base 30.5cm square, diameter at top 30.5cm (flat centre section of the top 26.5cm diameter) x 94cm high.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Signs of restoration and refinishing.
