A Stunning French Louis XVI Style Mahogany and Brass Inlaid Marble Topped Chest c1880

A truly impressive mahogany and brass inlaid chest of drawers in the Louis XVI style.
The chest comprises of 5 drawers all brass inlaid and with original handles. Its supported by turned front feet and rectangular feet at the back.
The lovely marble top is in good condition and is called 'Royal Rouge' which comes from Namur in Belgium.
The chest is of great quality with all the drawers oak lined and running well.
The front of the chest also has brass fluting running down each side and brass decoration to the sides.
A real statement piece that would work equally well in a bedroom or even in a lounge or hall.
