Excellent quality late Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase c.1890. Glazed bookcase top with adjustable shelves, retaining their original leather trim, over a cupboard base with shelf. The drawer opens and hinges to make a writing desk with fitted interior of pigeon holes and small planetree veneered drawers. Attractive design with plain lines, simple carved detail, matched veneers and decorative original handles. Excellent condition and an attractive mellow colour. Restored and repolished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
