An impressive walnut extending dining table on a split pedestal with a central support leg. This table will seat 12 or even 14 if need be when extended. Closed down it is 48 inches round and will seat 4 or even six people. However when the five leaves are in place it will extend to over 10 feet and is a very flexible table.
We have a set of 12 walnut chairs on our web site that would sit with this table really well. The oval end of the table matching the oval back of the chairs. There are however a number of sets that could be polished to match so please enquire. The table from around 1900 is in need of some very minor repairs and does need French polishing and all this will be done for the purchaser. Type of finish and an influence on the colour being available at this stage.
A rare table being an extender on a pedestal and bags of flexibility with the leaf combination........Please be aware we open every Friday and Saturday 9.30 to 5.30 other times by appointment.
