Very impressive example of the classic Edwardian oak roll top desk c.1905. Lift the tamboured roll to reveal a good sized workspace and an exceptional fitted interior of 29 small drawers for dockets and stationery with original knobs and brass label holder handles, plus pigeon holes and a small lockable cupboard. On drawer pedestals with carved handles, a writing slide and a double height drawer to the base of the right hand pedestal. With an extra drawer above the knee hole. A good quality desk with solid oak fielded panels to the sides and rear, polished on all sides. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied for the roll and the little cupboard inside.
