Large Oak Pedestal Desk & Matching Chair
A large oak pedestal desk with matching chair, Dutch circa 1900. The desk has a faux tan leather top with three frieze drawers, brass handles and lions head carvings. The two pedestals have geometric fielded panel doors with carved Greek columns on either side. The left hand pedestal opens to reveal three vertical filing compartments. The right hand pedestal has three drawers with brass hand pulls. The sides of the desk are panelled and the rear is identical to the front but without the drawers and pedestal doors.The desk separates into three parts for ease of transport. The matching chair is upholstered in the same material as the desk top and has a bow shaped back and arm rest ending in lions head carvings and trumpet style legs which are joined by a H stretcher. The furniture couriers usually provide a ‘one man kerbside service’. The driver will be helpful and try to deliver to your room of choice but assistance may be required. If you think you might require a two - man delivery service just let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements.
Delivery times can vary depending on your location but parcel carriers can usually deliver within a few days and furniture couriers within 7 - 21 days. Furniture couriers will contact you in advance to arrange a convenient delivery time.

We can send small items worldwide via DHL or FedEX, please contact us for a quotation.
For larger items we can, upon request, recommend a number of reputable shipping companies. You can contact them directly for a quotation to ship anywhere in the world and we will be happy to deliver your item/s to their London based offices free of charge.

We ask that you carefully inspect your goods when they are delivered. If you are not completely happy with your purchase you may return them within 14 days for a full refund less any transportation or postage costs.
