Large Low Mahogany Chest Of Drawers With A Gallery
Antique quality large (but low) mahogany chest of drawers with a gallery.
This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age and desirable dark mahogany colour.
Solid, heavy with no loose joints and the drawers slide freely.
Solid mahogany construction with mahogany lined drawers.
GR crown markings on the locks, a sure sign of quality and indicating manufacture in the reign of George V or VI.
Attractive bracket feet, gallery top and swan neck handles.
Lovely proportions and styling, with a great look.
1110mmW x 565mmD x 820mmH (plus 50mmH upstand).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way for this type of item. No keys and the locks are consequently untested.
There is an escutcheon missing from one lock.
