Large early 19th.c. French oak dresser base sideboard c.1820. Three plank top with a plate groove over three drawers and a three door cupboard base. Lovely vernacular design in pale oak with a simple carved scallop motif to the top of the centre door and repeated on the apron. Large original brass hinges, knobs and escutcheon plates. Raised and fielded door panels, a very attractively shaped apron and tall carved feet. Oak panelled sides, chestnut drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Original lock and keys.
