Large 18th Century Carved Oak Coffer
This is a lovely old piece, with a superb patina, the chest has 4 Dimond Carved panels and Frieze on the front and it stands on short peg legs
The top of the coffer has deeply moulded edge and blacksmith made hinges, the coffer has a good patina and the colour is original and lighter than some pieces of this age, it is in good condition for its age and has later oak straps to strengthen the lid
The coffer is 58” long, 23” deep and 26” high
