Kingsize bed & cabinets WITH pocket mattress
Superb bed with large side cabinets & mattress (a11753)
This is an extremely good quality French antique kingsize bed and pair of matching bedside cabinets, all in excellent condition, circa 1900
The bed is beautifully made and has "plum pudding" panels, fluted columns with brass ormolu mounts and four fabulous acorn finials
The bed will hold a full 5` x 6`6`` kingsize mattress and we INCLUDE a 1500 pocket sprung mattress with this set.
The pair of matching bedside cabinets are themselves an unusual size, bigger than the norm. Quality as good as the bed, the set has with no doubt been made by a fine craftsmen, most likely Paris or Lyon.
As you can see, one side you have a bank of drawers, all in oak and dovetailed - the other side you have the double cupboard
Both pieces beautifully made and finished with the original shaped marble tops
Certainly a very fine set indeed, supplied with the 1500 pocket sprung mattress as mentioned AND delivered FREE within 125 miles of Oakham
