JAS Shoolbred mahogany bureau desk writing table
Antique large flame mahogany bureau desk writing table (believed to be JAS Shoolbred, but is not marked).
This piece of antique furniture is of the highest quality and approximately 100 years old. We have a key and the bureau has mahogany lined drawers which slide freely.
Lovely shape, colour and patina.
Overall dimensions 1030mmW x 470mmD x 1040mmH x 760mmH writing surface.
There is some wear to the leather writing surface and later handles have been fitted. The later handles clash slightly with the locks on the top drawers but do not affect their operation.
There are historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations as is normal with antique furniture.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
