A very good japanese aesthetic style faux bamboo gilt metal wall mounted dinner gong circa 1890. In totally original condition. The gong is engraved with several stars and has a coppered and ebonized finish. The gilt metal frame is gilded faux bamboo metal with an ebonized wooden mount. Complete with the original clanger. Lovely sonorous sound. Gong diameter 26cms. Full length on wall 44cms long x 23cms deep. Clanger 30cms long. We always strive to source the best quality and original items for our clients.
