This is a handsome Victorian mahogany chest with a really good rich colour and beautiful flame mahogany veneers dating from around 1880. The chest has substantial barley twist columns and an atttractive carved frieze to the upper drawer. The chest is in super condition and has a really imposing look with a good bow shape to the front and a shaped frieze to the bottom. This is raised on its original turned solid mahogany bun feet.
The chest has good proportions measuring 118 cms high, 118 cms wide by 60 cms deep.
