A handsome antique magnifying glass with a hand-carved handle made from horn and the terminal skillfully created into a horse's hoof.

The ferrule is made from English Sterling Silver with a full hallmark for Sheffield 1909, Edwardian in era. The nickel frame glass is of course new, unmarked but probably made by Hilkinson, producing a clear and undamaged glass with a good magnification ready for use.

Excellent condition measuring 7 1/2" in length with a glass diameter measuring 3" in diameter.
